Some Planning Tips

So, we're all about planning, right?  On the whole, we've planned more events, parties, fundraisers, and basic day-to-day operations than we'd like to count.  Want some tips?

Understand what you are planning - putting together a good plan starts with an understanding of what you need to get done.  Make sure that you and those you are planning for are all on the same page - keep everyone in the loop as you work on your plan.

Set specific goals - are you raising funds for a high school volleyball team?  How much are you trying to raise?  How long do you have to raise it?

Get organized - obviously, we use PlanScripts to keep organized but putting out a timeline of what needs to be done, who needs to do it, and when it needs to be done by is critical for anyone planning anything.

Be flexible - things  may need to change as you work through your plan.  Adjust things that need adjusting and try not to sweat it.

One Week Later

It's been a little over a week since we opened up PlanScripts to beta testers all over and we've added many new users who are generating lots of new plans to eventually be published for everyone's use!

It's exciting to watch the user list growing and to see all the planning that's going on.  A Vacation Bible School plan is in the works, a Junior Sailing Team season is off to a good start, a Glee Club is putting their 'binders' online for all subsequent officers to access and follow.  Amazing!

What are you planning?  A Boy Scout outing?  A school fundraiser?  Using PlanScripts makes it easy to plan and even easier to redo it next year.  Check out the intro video to see how it works.

Welcome to PlanScripts

We are Volleyball Booster Presidents, Vacation Bible School Coordinators, Fundraising Chairs, Girl Scout Leaders, Non-Profit Presidents, Kiwanis volunteers, and business owners.  We have spent many years planning events and being frustrated at having to constantly reinvent the wheel.  Managing these projects came with many aggravations, including the transition between event coordinators, coming up with new ideas, and keeping all helpers constantly in the loop.

These frustrations that came along with our involvement in our schools, churches, and community inspired us to create a solution for the stressful and time-consuming aspects of planning these activities.

The result? PlanScripts.com
